Northiam Bonfire Procession & Fireworks
Northiam's Bonfire Procession & Fireworks is our main event of the year, and you're invited! Come and watch the amazing spectacle of the torchlit Procession of Bonfire Societies from around Sussex, each with their own distinctive costumes, marching down Main Street to the beat of the drumming groups. There's nothing else like it!

Northiam's Bonfire Procession will be held on Saturday 5th October, leaving the Bonfire Field (on the A28 south of the village) at 7.30pm, processing into the village, and returning for the lighting of the Bonfire at about 8.30pm followed by fireworks.
Bonfire Societies will be wearing their distinctive costumes and carry flaming torches, and no Bonfire Procession would be complete without drums!
Bar, food and amusements will be on the Bonfire Field, which will be open from 6.30pm, and there will be live music before the Procession and after the fireworks.
Entry to the Field is just £2, but we hope you will want to give generously to the charity collectors along the way (rattling our distinctive purple buckets). This year's Good Causes are Beckley Guides & Brownies and Little Gate Farm. Cash payment would be greatly appreciated.
There is a field for car parking south of the village on the A28 - look out for signs. This will be open from 6.30pm and will close at 11pm. Otherwise, please park considerately, and note that the road through the village will be closed from 6.30pm until pedestrians have cleared (approx 10pm) see map.
You are advised to bring a torch!

Save the date...Saturday 5 October 2024...we hope to see you again then!
